I’m running for County Commissioner because Brunswick County is at a turning point—and we need steady, principled leadership that protects what we love while planning responsibly for what’s next.
As Planning Board Chair, I’ve seen firsthand how today’s decisions shape the county our children and grandchildren will inherit. Growth is coming, and it can be a good thing when it’s managed well—but it must be smart, intentional, and paced with the infrastructure that makes a community work: roads, water and sewer, schools, and public safety.
My conservative values are clear and non-negotiable: protect property rights, respect taxpayers and demand disciplined budgeting, defend parents and strengthen educational opportunity, and keep government transparent and accountable.
Just as importantly, I will always prioritize the people who show up when we need them most—our EMS, doctors and healthcare providers, fire departments, and law enforcement—so they have the staffing, resources, and long-range planning support required to keep our communities safe as we grow.
I’m running to help Brunswick County stay family-centered, business-friendly, and fiscally responsible, with a real plan for smart growth that preserves our quality of life and builds a stronger future for many generations to come.
I’m a husband, a father, and a lifelong resident and advocate for Brunswick County. I believe deeply in faith, family, and the responsibility we all share to leave this place better than we found it. Brunswick County isn’t just where I live — it’s where I’m raising my family, building community, and working to protect the quality of life that makes our coastal home so special.
I’m passionate about serving this community, giving back where I can, and supporting our local businesses — because when small businesses succeed, Brunswick County succeeds. As a REALTOR for more than 20 years, I’ve seen firsthand how important private property rights are to families and to the future of our county. I’ve been honored to serve as President of our REALTORS® association, and I’ve served for years as a trustee for RPAC, fighting for the policies that protect property owners.
On a personal note, my family is my greatest priority. When I met my wife, Katherine, she was a single mother of three. I stepped into an instant father role and later legally adopted her children. Today, Katherine and I have four beautiful children, including our two-year-old little girl. I’m blessed to raise them here, and I want every family in Brunswick County to feel that same pride and security — not just today, but for generations to come.
